Submarine Trip

Would you like to help your child overcome a fear of swimming? Are you nervous about deep water, fish or marine life? Would you like to see the fascinating underwater world without so much as touching the water?

The submarine is one of the most highly recommended excursions in Sharm El Sheikh, and one of the loveliest experiences the resort has to offer.

It is also a welcome break from the crowded beaches.

The submarine's glass windows give you a spectacular panoramic view of the rich marine life.

A unique opportunity to see the coral reef formations and their inhabitants — stonefish, clownfish, grouper, scorpionfish, butterflyfish, crabs, moray eels and Napoleon wrasse.

Programme

We collect you from your hotel.

We drive to the marina where the submarine is moored.

We board the submarine and set off to sea.

We then descend to the lower deck of the submarine, around 7 metres below the surface.

We begin exploring the depths of the sea, the coral reefs and the colourful fish.

Then we return to the marina.

Our vehicle will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

How long does the trip take?

It takes two and a half hours, hotel to hotel.

The submarine itself lasts one hour, but with the transfers it comes to two and a half hours in total.

(Anyone who tells you an hour and a half or two hours is simply trying to persuade you to pay more for a supposedly longer trip. That is not the case — the programme is the same and the duration of the trip never changes.)
