AMC Royal Hotel is a five-star beach resort in the El Ahyaa area north of Hurghada, opened in November 2010 and set directly on the Red Sea with a private sandy beach. It operates on an All Inclusive basis and welcomes children of all ages, with a dedicated kids' club and pools, so it suits families first and foremost. It also works for couples and honeymooners thanks to its honeymoon suite, and for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts thanks to the marine activities on offer.

The hotel features an aqua park with 3 water slides, as well as an indoor pool, a pool that can be heated in winter, a jacuzzi, a children's pool and a baby pool. The beach slopes gently into the sea with a jetty for entering the water, and loungers, umbrellas and towels are free. There are four restaurants: the international Blue Lagoon buffet, the Oriental Palm Island, the Italian The Cesar, and Kona Kai for seafood and sushi, plus a spa with sauna, Turkish bath and massage.
